How to use
- The preview starts animating immediately — you'll see TV static right away.

How does the TV static animation work?
It uses an HTML5 canvas that redraws random pixel data 15 times per second — the same technique retro games and demoscene productions use for noise effects. It's all client-side, no video file needed.
Can I pause the bouncing NO SIGNAL text?
The text bounces continuously like a DVD screensaver — there's no pause button for the text specifically, but pressing Esc exits the full screen view instantly.
Will this drain battery on a laptop?
The canvas repaint runs at 15 fps which is quite light — similar to watching a video. On a modern laptop you may lose 10–15% more battery per hour versus idle, but it won't cause rapid drain.
